Blessing
Having traveled nearly 2500 miles cross county to Merced, CA, I had no idea who to entrust for the care of my precious cargo, my two year old daughter. I had many suggestions by employees at my new work site, and took a chance on Bear Country. It was a true blessing in disguise. They took my little girl in and made us both feel like we were at home.
Excellence
My baby girl received the finest care from her first day care provider, Ms. Janet. She provided stability, discipline and love on a daily basis. Ms. Regina and the rest of her staff made my daughter part of the Bear Country family. Excellence in care, socialization, and development are a daily goal at this facility.
Awesome
The care, discipline, and socialization provided at this facility are AWESOME! My baby girl experienced diversity, bonding with special friends, great eats for lunch and snacks, and the best field trips ever. She had a daily nap and learned the skills necessary to move on as Kindergartner.
Resourceful
Ms. Regina and her staff are extremely enthusiastic and energetic. Crafts, art, and music are daily activities at Bear Country. They can take straws and turn them into animals, make stars from pipe cleaners, form tissue paper into flowers, and turn plastic milk bottles into Easter Baskets!
Caring
Ms. Regina and her staff take pride in the care of their family (children entrusted to them ). They cuddle and hold them when they are sick, put band aides on their boo boo’s, stroke their hair and rub their backs to sooth them during nap time, and hold their hand when they are scared. They marvel at their development and share in the happiness of watching them grow.
Opportunity
Bear County gave my daughter the opportunity to grow and development in a healthy and happy environment. She had the experience of being around a diverse group of children and will take her experiences during her pre-school developmental years and grown into a well- rounded child.
Awesome
My daughter’s four years spent at Bear Country will not be forgotten. One day I will pull the box down from the closet that contains all the memories of her time at Bear County. The endless papers with drawings of stick people, the crafts, the finger paintings, the memory books, and the gifts made for holidays. The laughter heard and the dreams of magic after the Leprechaun had danced on the table tops for St. Patrick’s Day will never be forgot.

Ms. Regina and her staff are the nicest people ever! I don’t think a day went by that I did not hear “ Hi, How are you, or have a wonderful evening.” You are always greeted with a smile and kind words. Thank you Ms. Regina!
Trustworthy
The best feeling in the world is when you drop your precious cargo off and not worry about who they are with or what is going on during their day away from you. I always felt secure in leaving my little girl at Bear Country. She always came home speaking of good times and fun with her little friends. If she became ill I always received a phone call and was comforted knowing she was in good hands.
Respectful
The Bear Country staff are very respectful to the changes and/or developmental needs of your child. They respect the lifestyles of the many different families coming to their facility. Being a single mom far from home can be difficult. Bear Country takes into consideration the special needs of their children and their family. They are mindful of the different lifestyles and stresses of our lives.
Youthfulness
Ms. Regina and her staff keep us all young at heart. I have enjoyed participating in activities, going to field trips, and watching my little girl grow at Bear Country. Thank you for keeping us young!
Happy 25th Anniversary BEAR COUNTRY! Thanks for assisting with the development, socialization and growing up of my daughter from age two to five. I will continue to entrust you with her future development when she continues to spend time with you as an after schooler during the holiday breaks from school.
